For almost two decades, Girish has been a life coach, mentor, author, motivational speaker and a well-respected Canadian business leader. For his contributions Girish has received many awards, including Calgary’s Top 40 under 40, and Canada’s Top 25 Immigrants.

Girish has always been motivated to share his experience and success with others. He regularly speaks on multiple aspects of life matters and corporate leadership to help people understand, in his words, their own “Reason for Being”. Girish enjoys mentoring others to help them achieve success in their lives. In doing so, he feels that he fulfills a purpose in his own life.

In Canada, Girish runs a successful consulting practice, Agrawal Associates. Through his team of smart and good-hearted people, Girish offers consulting on wealth management and counselling on life matters to hundreds of families.

Stacey Smith

BCom

Donor Relations and Fund Development

Stacey has over 20 years of donor relations, customer service, and communications experience.  She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary, and a Professional Cooking Diploma from SAIT.  After Stacey’s introduction to fund development in 2012, she spent the following four years as the stewardship and communications officer at Mount Royal University.  In 2016, she found both a new opportunity and a place to grow working as a development officer at Bow Valley College.  In 2019 Stacey continued to expand her nonprofit experience in the area of annual and leadership giving at the Calgary Zoo and this year, she joined the Prostate Cancer Centre as the Manager of Development and Communications.  She is consistently inspired by the generosity of Calgarians, and their dedication to making this city a better place to live.

Stacey has volunteered for CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education), AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals), and was a board member for Ghost River Theatre.  In her down time, she combines her love of the outdoors and travelling with good food and wine.

Japant is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in project management, strategic planning, fund development, and community relations. Japant serves as the Managing Partner of the Chahal Group of Companies, a privately held real estate and development company that undertakes projects in Calgary and surrounding area.

Having begun her journey with a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Calgary, Japant went into fulfilling career working in government and fund development. The educational foundation along with the work opportunities have provided her the invaluable experience that has been instrumental in her professional and personal growth.
